Royal Enfeild Mods

Royal Enfeild! says it all....

R.E has now launched the Classic 350 and 500 among these the Classic 350 really feels under powered. This blog is all about how to soup up your R.E 350 so you will not feel under powered when you ride you road mate.

These are the major issues that you can notice in an R.E 350 when cruising.

  • Vibration at speeds of 85-110 kmph
  • Low mileage.
  • Feeling under powered when your riding mates have an R.E 500cc.

I know what is stopping you from going for an upgrade, you dont have to spend a lot to upgrade your bike as i have completed my testing period on the mod and am happy with my R.E 350. In order to make your cruise trip a comfortable one follow the tips below.

  • Change your exhaust to an after market free flow exhaust. ( rs 3000 - rs 8000)
  • Change your handle bar to an after market handle bar to reduce vibrations. (rs 900)
  •  Change your front drive sprocket from stock (16 Teeth) to R.E 500's front drive sprocket (18 Teeth).
  • Make sure you change your chain (R.E 500's) along with the 18 teeth sprocket to suit the bigger front drive sprocket.
  • Change your Air filter to a Simota or K&N.

Now once you are done with these changes your BULL is ready to cruise at 110 with very minimal vibrations and the mileage will go up by atleast 3-5 kmpl depending on how you ride.
Check the speeds your R.E can do at each gear.
  • 1st gear  35kmph
  • 2nd gear 55kmph
  • 3rd gear  75kmph
  • 4th gear   85 kmph
  • 5th gear   85+kmph (Note : your bull needs a min speed of 80 kmph to take on the 5th gear).
Now i dont think your bull is under powered and i am sure you will have a smile on your face each time you take your R.E out for a ride.

to be contd with more mods........
